Paradigm Shift introduced the EMT-10A tablet device, which comes with 10-inch touchscreen LCD display, runs on Google Android 1.5, 1024×600 resolution, boosted by a Marvel PX166 800MHz processor, 1.3MP integrated webcam, supports for WiFi, SD card slot and have VGA output as well as Ethernet port, and an optional 3G connectivity. For the storage, the EMT-10A has 2/4/8/16GB internal storage. Scheduled to be available this March with an asking price starts at $369.95.
It’s actually a tablet PC dressed in ebook reader skin because beside the device has an WiFi connectivity (EER-071WF model), you can use it to watch youtube video or chatting with your friend via e-buddy IM application. There are two version of Paradigm Shift e-Readers. One of them is 5-inch (EER-051) and 7-inch (EER-071WF). Both has come with color display, and to support ANSI, UNICODE TXT, DOC, PDF, HTML, FB2, PDB, EPUB non-DRM) file formats.
Beside it can browse the web, Paradigm Shift e-Reader can be used as MP3 player and image viewer. They will be available and the end of February 2010 with the 5-inch model (with built-in 1GB storage) will set you down for $149.95 and 7-inch model (2GB storage) is for $199.95.
