ONN E1 (Daza Electronics E-002)
ONN Technology, a Chinese manufacturer, has announced its first e-book reader for Chinese market, the ONN E1. Daza Electronics, a Chinese manufacturer of MP3 players, has also announces the E-002, a 6" (800x600) E Ink e-reader that supports PDF, txtr, HTML, ePub, JPEG, BMP, PNG and MP3 formats.
Both the ONN E1 and the Daza E-002 have the same casing and specifications but I can't confirm whether Daza Electronics owns ONN Technology or if they are competitors.
The ONN E1 e-book reader is a 6-inch display with e-ink technology. It is capable to showing 30 characters per line in 20 lines per page. The ONN E1 e-book reader has a 2500mAh super polymer lithium battery and provides up to 25 days in standby and over 10,000 pages. This e-reader has slot for TF card aand brings a USB port. The ONN E1 e-book reader supports playback of MP3, WMA, and OGG audio files.
Daza Electronics is also planning a 6" e-ink Reader with the model name E-003. Similar to the E-002 except it will have a full pad keyboard at the bottom of the screen. It is still in prototype format and no hardware specs are available yet.
