Gigabyte EB10 e-Reader

Gigabyte, a motherboard & PC peripherals manufacturer has released it's first e-Reader, the EB10. The EB10 e-Reader comes with a 6" PVI  e-ink display at 800 x 600 resolution with a Samsung 667MHz processor powering it's 16 levels of grayscales.

Gigabyte is developing an open system on the EB10 and are heavily promoting that Android could be the operating system although  Linux or Win CE 6.0 are strong possiblities as well. 
This Gigabyte e-reader will be able to let the users to install any software including RSS readers, news aggregators, web browsers, e-book readers and more. This opens the possibility to add applications that allow you to read Amazon and Barnes & Noble e-Books as well as ePub, Mobi-pocket and more.

It also plays music and audio through a headphone jack and includes WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth. It uses FBReader as the eBook software (which offers a massive amount of format support) and has a 1000mAh battery.

There is no pricing or other specs right now. Even photos are difficult to find but the prototype of the Gigabyte EB10 is being demonstrated in the video below.
