Digital Machines International EB605WT
Digital Machines International, a small Taiwanese company with a big name has joined the e-Reader market with the EB605WT and EB604 eReaders.
The EB605WT uses a 6-inch Sipix responsive 600 x 800 resolution touchscreen display while the EB604 which also has a 6-inch EPD display (minus any touch capability).
The DMI EB605WT has embedded WiFi, 1GB of internal storage and a microSD slot for expandable space. In addition to supporting ePub, PDF, TXT, HTML and RFT eBook formats, it also views JPG, PNG and BMP image files as well as plays MP3s through its external speaker. It’s only 0.35 inches (8.9mm) thick and 8.5 ounces or 240g in weight
DMI's EB604 is similar except it may not have WiFi connectivity. It supports ePub, TXT, PDF, HTML, DOC, FB2, CHM, DJVU and RTF eBook formats and also has image and MP3 support as well as a USB 2.0 and headphone output.
