E-Reader Feeder

1Cross Tech’s MIDhybrid is an e-reader that folds into a book like case, just like the Entourage Edge. There’s an E-Ink screen on the left and a small LCD plus keypad on the right, it folds in half either way due to a hinge in the middle. It runs Android 1.6 which allows you to move content from the LCD over to the e-Ink screen, like the Alex.

The Pack and Go feature uses dual display on the MIDhybrid and is called that way because you can surf the internet on the color display on the right and download all the content through it's mobile connection.

You can find PDF files, news articles and clippings, ebooks, etc and you can “drag” them to the left side of the Book and access them when you have time. You can play tons of games like Pacman, or send emails, or view spreadsheets and more.

1 Cross Tech's device also packs 3G, Bluetooth, and a front-facing webcam so you can record videos. Stores you can purchase it in, content created specifically for it and the actual cost is yet to released.
